The Grundfos BMEX system is suitable for desalination of seawater and saltwater in the water treatment industry. Specially designed for seawater desalination, all flow components can resist the erosion of seawater. The material of the components that come into contact with seawater is 904L or duplex stainless steel. In addition, the materials of the components that come into contact with seawater in the pressure exchanger are duplex steel and ceramics. The BMEX boosting system includes: a BME high-pressure feedwater pump, one or more X energy exchangers, a BM high-pressure circulation pump (made of high-grade stainless steel), and a frequency converter
